Meet the Designer
When I was confronted with the effect of the Covid-19 impacts on my couture bridal and evening brand Louise Alvarez Couture, I decided after twenty seven years of special occasion wear, it was time to create something new, adding something both beautiful and useful that would help women not only feel fantastic, I wanted to add a little bit of practical luxury to their everyday lives, while working in with the new era of multi task dressing.
In the beginning, my main motivation was to create an additional line that would keep my wonderful, extremely talented and highly skilled team employed, so my business could survive while waiting for the wedding industry to recover. In reality though, we’ve created a beautiful ongoing brand that’s all about quality, Australian made practical luxury that is both useful and supports the local economy.
I feel incredibly passionate about this beautiful brand, created right here in Australia with only the highest quality natural fabrics like Merino wool, silk and bamboo, just for you to own, share and enjoy.
